Two members of our Pennsylvania crew, Rick and Zane, recently installed this outdoor stair lift in nearby Reading, PA. Older houses can prove tricky, both for our clients and our install teams, and this one was no different. Limited space and other constraints provided few options, forcing the team to come up with an out-of-the-box solution.
Because of the height of the stairs, installing a ramp wasn’t a feasible choice. Additionally, platform lifts are also significantly more expensive and require quite a bit more space to accommodate. Our solution? This outdoor stair lift pictured above will allow our client Sandra to remain in her home while also helping her safely navigate to and from her doctor appointments.
